With the final leg of the Ultimate Cowboy Challenge at the Norfolk County fair fast approaching we wanted to take the opportunity to apprise all our competitors and spectators of some exciting changes.
For the 2019 show season we will be competing in our new sand pens located in the centre field. One sand pen will be designated as the warm up area/holding pen. Please ensure you are ready and in the holding pen prior to your race commencing.
Walk through for the Gamblers Choice division will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. with our esteemed judge Sheila Rondeau. The race will commencing at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
There will be a lunch break of one hour between the beginners and advanced divisions. Ribbons will be awarded after each division race with the Ultimate Cowboy Triple Crown Challenge awards being awarded at the very end of the day!!! We hope you can all stay for the final awards ceremony.
The address for the Norfolk County Fair is 172 South Drive Simcoe Ontario. The easiest entrance to navigate with trailers is located on Queen Street and the exit is on Evergreen Hill Road.
The Ultimate Cowboy Challenge is a rain or shine event so please come prepared for all weather conditions.
The current course is set up at Second Chance Ranch for anyone to practice and will be open until Saturday (October 12th) evening!!

A new year; like a clean slate, brings excitement, unbridled potential, hope and 2019 is no exception. It also provides us with an opportunity to reflect upon the year gone by and all the things we accomplished, obstacles overcome and new friends made. In 2018 the UCC debuted our exciting new division, The Gamblers Choice. This new division allows competitors to ride as many obstacles as possible within an allotted time frame. Each obstacle is given a points value depending on difficulty and competitors utilize skill and strategy to accumulate as many points as possible, winner takes all. The Gambles Choice Division has proven to be both an exhibitor and fan favourite and was more poular than we ever could have anticipated.
At Second Chance Ranch Jassen and his trusty steed Sisco won The Gamblers Choice with a
total of 67 points. Taking home the first ever of our beautifully designed and completely unique UCC belt buckles.
A world renowned trainer and clinician for Two-Way Trust Horsemanship from Canmore Alberta took the belt at the second leg of our Ultimate Cowboy Challenge at Ancaster Fair with Tucker scoring 74 points.
At the final leg of our Ultimate Cowboy Challenge, which was held at Norfolk County Fair on October 8th David again stole the show with Tucker scoring 87 and winning the third and final buckle for The Gamblers Choice division.
